Contending For The Faith

The days of great contending are here. You are battling for the faith of your fathers.  Abraham stood, the prophets of old stood at great cost and you are no different.  My Word will sustain you through the most difficult of times.  My Word is your help and strength, indeed it is your healing.  Stand fast beloved and do not be moved but contend for the faith today.

Believe me for great things and do not back down but hold your position and I will show you when to press in and take more ground away from the enemy. He has no right to you!  He has no hold on you!  You are free in Christ!!!  Believe My Word and do not look at your situation.  Look to me the author and finisher of your faith.

The apostles of old stood.  You will stand against all odds.  Take the sword of the Lord and fight with it.  Wield it with power.  It is a sharp sword and I will sharpen that which is within you even further.  I am the sword so spend much time in My presence.  I am the one that will refresh in you the tactics to fight.  The armor of God is what protects you so do all that you know in your heart to do, praying in the spirit at all times.  It will lift you up, it will bring revelation, and you will be strengthened.

Above all do not fear.  This is but one tactic of the enemy.  Cover yourself and others with the blood of Jesus.  Fight the good fight of faith and lay hold on eternal life.  The greatest battle ever is yet to come, even at the door so contend daily in the little battles, for the bigger ones will bring victory and you will take the spoils of the enemy as you will will have learned to contend in the small ones.  

Pay attention maintaining health of body, soul and spirit for you will prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers.  Rest in me for all that you need and do not be moved from your position seated in the heavenlies far above all principalities and powers.  Maintain the rest spoken of by me in My Word and fear lest you do not enter it.

Surrender all to me, all that you own, all that you are and even your ministry need to be on the altar to me.  Indeed I am the head of every ministry in the body of Christ and without me in the center you have no ministry.  Minister out of relationship, fire and love for Jesus for without me your ministries will be powerless.  I am the power for I am on the throne.  Allow me the pre-eminence and do not touch My glory.  I will do much with each one of you as you give me all the glory.  I am the glory do not touch it and do my prophets no harm.

Rise up in praise and worship for it will elevate you above all your problems for I inhabit the praises of My people.  I live in your praises.  Exalt me in all situations.  Be aware of what is going on inside you and give no place to the enemy.  Contend beloved children, contend for the faith. The river of life is within you. Keep it flowing by being filled with my word, prayer, praise and intercession, drinking daily from that river.

There are those of you that drink little and that is why you have little power.  There is healing in that river of life for your bodies, refreshing for your soul and your spirit will soar like an eagle if you would but drink.  Come to the river, come for I am calling you to dine at my table.  Come and sit with me for I would be your Father, and I would comfort you as a mother comforts her children.  Come to me and do not delay nor be stubborn but come to me, now.

Tides of refreshing will flow as you run to me.  Prepare in the spiritual for it is first and foremost and then prepare in the natural as I speak into your spirit.  Much is out there online and if my children would heed me as much as they heed the words of others they would do well.  Many do not know My voice and are floundering.  Know My voice for my sheep know me.  Beloved children, know me and do not follow the voice of another.  It is with much contending that you will lay hold on eternal life.  Take time to know me.

Battling For The Soul Of A Nation!

911 has been in my thoughts as we view news clips of a decade past. Hearts with hope that day crushed by the impact of the terrible attack on America. Innocence robbed from so many youth as they in their prime years viewed such loss in their homes and families. Firefighters, so valiant, officials giving up their lives to rescue others. Many still trying to make sense of it all, when only God holds the answers for our lives.

It seemed that early morning as the planes flew into the towers and the Pentagon that God had taken His hand of protection off of America. There was a breach called sin that the enemy could penetrate and he did.
How well has America recovered? How well have adjacent nations done in their own country to deal with deep seated sin issues at hand. Can this war against terrorism be fought in conventional ways or do God's prophets and others need to remain in the prayer closet and battle for the soul of a nation.

We are no longer calling sin, sin in many churches. The Word of God has been sacrificed, for lunches and flowery messages that tickle the soul without bringing life changes so necessary for our nation to survive. Throughout scripture the protection of a nation is in direct correlation as to whether or not that nations God is the Lord.

Do those who are not walking with Jesus have a right to that protection? Does a nation who is now permitting same sex marriage, as does Canada, have a legal right to protection? Sin is a reproach to any nation. We have removed the ten commandments from our schools and teach our children instead that alternate lifestyles are okay and condone them. We want our schools protected and yet have thrown the Lord out of our them. Gone is the day that prayer starts the day in our classrooms.

May God help us to get it right. These are not the only sins in our nation and all sin is grievous to a Holy God. Sin separates man from God and so we must ALL lay aside our sin if we are to live in peace and have protection. It starts in the house of God! What are we preaching from our pulpits? Are we walking in the whole counsel of God or do we walk in fear of man? God loves the sinner, and the Lord knows each heart and that we are but dust, but now is the time for lasting change that can only come through true repentance.

Now is the time to repent of sin. The doors are open and the Trojan horse has entered and the enemy is already in our nations just waiting to strike again. Canada is not exempt and yesterday when hearing of the quake on Vancouver Island the Lord had me begin to repent of the sins in our nation, naming some. We are at a crossroads and it is NOW that we must make a decision to be hard on sin and eradicate it from our individual lives. Leadership needs to examine their hearts and see if there is any wicked way in them. How can they lead a people if they are walking in sin themselves? The blind cannot lead the blind and so we must pray without ceasing for lasting change.

Pray for our enemies and pray for those that despitefully abuse us and persecute us. Pray also for the peace of Jerusalem as we see it heating up in the middle east. There is a direct correlation to the nations of the earth whose God is the Lord and their walking in peace.

To the Nations leaders, open your eyes to the Word of God and see that if you come against Israel in trying to divide Gods land that you are coming against the Lord.

In remembering 911 know that we are still battling for the soul of a nation. Let us pray and intercede each doing our part. Perhaps Joplin could have been averted, and 911 never happened had the body of Christ been fervent in prayer and intercession. Let us repent of OUR sin, and move on to a new place in God. A place of prayer and intercession that overturns the world and forever changes it for good.

Let us watch and pray standing on guard for our nation knowing that Christ is the only answer for ALL nations and that He would have all men to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Prayer For Africa

The Lord woke me up this morning and so I came downstairs at exactly three am eastern time. As I began to pray in the spirit the only word I recognized was, Mandela and somehow equated my praying to do with former President Mandela and Africa. I even did a militant march down my hallway after praying for awhile. Whatever the need it was on Father's heart and then I wondered how old this man was and saw that he was ninety three. I said Lord are you taking him home shortly. It was a thought and I am not making it a thus saith the Lord except to say, we need to pray for Africa and her people that the Lord will set all things right and bring in a harvest of souls. He makes everything beautiful in His time.

Say not you, There are yet four months, and then comes harvest? behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. John 4:35

SPIRITUAL SPAM


Looking at my email page and seeing spam listed I wondered if the people of God sometimes send the Lord spam in their communication with Him. We need to be mindful of just what kind of prayers we are praying and not just send anything up to the throne of grace. Let us be praying unselfish, spirit led prayers that hit the target and get results, bringing the will of God from heaven to earth. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. How you pray can and should be making a difference!


¹⁴And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. 1 John 5:14 (AMP)

There are those that travel regularly to the nations to preach the gospel of the Kingdom. They need our prayer and intercession during those times. Let us stand on guard for them, praying for the Lord to use them and protect them. There has been and always will be an onslaught against men and women of God who are willing to pay the price and lay down their lives for the brethren. Together we will thwart the plans of the enemy and see a harvest of souls brought into the Kingdom.

The Lord of The Breakthrough!

It is written, "I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together like sheep of the fold, like a flock in the midst of their pasture; they shall make a loud noise because of so many people. The one who breaks open will come up before them; they will break out, pass through the gate, and go out by it; their king will pass before them, with the LORD at their head." (Micah 2:12-13 NKJV).

People of God, in order for us to walk in FULL authority in the earth, we MUST understand that our way has ALREADY been made. Power, authority and dominion belongs to those whom BELIEVE as such! He has given these things unto us and now we MUST function as such.

The body of Christ awaits and has need for that which GOD has placed in YOU! Begin thanking God TODAY for HE IS our Lord of the breakthrough!

Father, we thank you for going before us to BREAK THROUGH every form of bondage and hindrance that would attempt to delay us from walking in POWER, AUTHORITY and DOMINION in the earth! We thank you that every chain, every weight AND every fetter has been broken!

We thank you for placing an anointing upon us that will SHATTER strongholds rendering us FREE and at liberty to walk in your ways! You ARE the Lord of the Breakthrough and we THANK YOU for the BREAKER'S anointing that you have given unto us!

For it is written, "And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing." (Isaiah 10:27 KJV).

Father, we thank you that, even NOW, someone is realizing the power that you have granted them to BREAK THROUGH the situation that may even be hindering them at this very moment! We thank you for the ability that you have given us to WALK IN deliverance!

STIR UP THE GIFTS in us, Father, that we dominate in the earth for YOUR glory! We decree it so NOW and so shall it be according to thy word! In Jesus' name!

Call On The Name Of The Lord!

One just has to turn on the television or internet to know that we are living in a time of great unrest and fear.  Man knows that the world is turning upside down and that they need an answer but are they willing to turn their lives over to Jesus?

 That is the long and the short of it for there is salvation in no other name and no other name under heaven where man can be saved.  We cannot put a bandage on the problems of this world. It seems like a can of worms that we can no longer put a lid on,and things are manifesting all over that are not God but the enemy trying to have dominion.  What do we do at times like these?  We were told to watch and pray!  As believers this is what we need to be doing, standing in the gap.  Now I know that some are getting tired of hearing this but it is something that we need to be hearing and doing.  Let us pray that He will have dominion from sea to sea and from the river to the end of the earth.

Many of God's children, still spend more time on the internet, and in front of the television than they do in prayer.  Many of God's children are still busy about much but not about their fathers business.  Sadly if they do not open their eyes and ears they are going to be sadly lacking in the protection of the Word of God in the days to come.  It is time to come out of this world, repent of sin and get right with God!  Yes, many need to get their hearts right with Jesus.  It is time to call sin, just what it is and come out and be separate. 

The time of separation is here and we must call on the Lord and choose our friends wisely.  Call on the Lord now and He will answer you.  Call on the Lord now for He is the only answer to fear.  He is the only answer to your finances and He alone is the answer to your family issues.  He is the only answer for the nations of the earth who are turned upside down and sin ridden.  He is the only answer when it comes to leadership.  Plainly Jesus is the only answer to this worlds troubles and as they get greater, Jesus will become more and more to those that will believe on His name, turn their lives over to Him and serve Him.

What are you waiting for?  Why do you delay?  Come to Jesus now, without delay, repent of your sin, and once and for all decide to serve Him.  He is your answer and calling out to you today.  Come.
