Responsibilities of An Apostle

1. Most apostles do not start out as apostles. The initial characteristic of the apostolic call is first and foremost is that they are a preacher and teacher of the Word of God. Every thing they preach and teach is based upon the revealed truth in scriptures – I Timothy 2:7. Most apostles start out in other areas of ministry first and then once they are proven in that area, if the apostolic call is upon them, then God moves them into that level of ministry.
2. II Timothy 2:1-2 – Apostles train and equip faithful men who in turn train and equip others. The Apostles heart is to see people grow and function in their callings.
3. II Timothy 1:6 - An Apostle is able to activate, stir up, and release the gifting in peoples’ lives. An Apostle is able to impart the grace and anointing needed for someone to walk in his or her calling. He is able to release gifts and ministries within a believer in order to set them on course for their own ministry. An Apostle is able to impart what is lacking so the believer can rise to full maturity.
4. I Timothy 4:14 – Apostles are spiritual fathers. As fathers they birth, protect, teach, and mentor sons. An Apostle has the ability to attract sons he can reproduce himself in through apostolic impartation. An apostle is able to help people grow into their full potentials in Christ. Impartation – the ability to plant in a seed form in the spirit of others what the apostle possesses in his life, call, and ministry. With the impartation comes multiplication of the apostle’s ministry. The sons he is training are reproducing his work. He is extending himself through them. So now his ministry goes to more places and touches more lives even though he is not there himself.
5. The Apostles that we see in scripture laid the foundation of Kingdom principles that we now have. Modern day Apostles do not write scripture or expand on the scripture that is written. They build upon the foundation that has already been laid in Christ. The Apostle promotes Christ as the firm foundation for life. Apostles lay foundation in the lives of God’s people, in order to prepare them for the coming moves of God.
6. Apostles are people of character – Phillipians 3:8-10; Paul aspired to be like the Lord Jesus that he had encountered on the Damascus Road. He desired this not only for himself but for all those who were under his apostolic oversight – Galatians 4:19. He had a passion to see Christ formed and reproduced into his spiritual sons.
7. Apostles have received the grace to suffer for Christ – Acts 9:15-16; Acts 20:17- 24. Paul recognized that suffering and affliction went along with the call and he was willing so that the Word of God would multiply in the lives of others. Along with the suffering comes the wisdom and stamina to deal with it.
8. Apostles have access to revelations and the unfolding of mysteries – Galatians 1:11-12. This is how Paul received his calling and was able to write 2/3 of the New Testament. The apostles were give the revelation of the hidden mysteries concerning the believers in Christ and Christ in the believers. Apostles were able to bring understanding of O.T. Scriptures and interpret them for relevance of their
day. Ie Acts 2:14-21 – Peter took the O.T. prophecy by Joel and was able to bring understanding and revelation to that day. Apostles are able to bring insight to the Body of Christ concerning the purposes and plans of God.
9. Apostolic ministry doesn’t just affect the local church but it affects cities, regions, and nations. Paul’s ministry affected city after city. Signs and wonders followed in each city. Acts 19:8-12. Not only does the apostolic affect the people in a city or region but also the Spirits that govern that area. An apostle who is sent to a city has governmental authority in that city in the spirit over those demons there. The apostolic anointing can free up a city, region or nation from demonic strongholds.
10. Apostles bring order and government to the Church. Government is necessary to facilitate the flow of God’s power and anointing. Titus 1:5.
11. Apostles are wise master builders. They help to build strong churches. The are responsible for overseeing the building and construction of the house of God.
12. Apostles bring judgment and correction to the Church. They issue sentences and verdicts against false teaching and incorrect behavior. I Corinthians 5:1-5.
13. Apostles are bishops. To be a bishop means to oversee. Apostles oversee churches.
14. Apostles ordain and set in place qualified leadership. This includes selection and confirmation.
15. The apostolic anointing is a confrontational anointing. Apostles confront false teaching, witchcraft, immorality and anything that will keep the church from fulfilling its purpose.

Cloud by Day, Fire by Night
Cloud by Day, Fire by Night
17Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.” 18 So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. Exodus 13:17-18 (NKJV)
We can but stand in awe of the Lord when we see how the Lord led the Israelites. They were armed for battle yet God knew their hearts and that they might still change their minds and go back into bondage. He chose to lead them out instead, through the desert. We have heard that it was only an eleven day journey and that their time in the wilderness would have been shorter except for their disobedience. Yet we see here that the Lord knew they could change their minds and was preventing it happening.
Be glad you have a loving heavenly Father that knows your heart. He knows just how much you can handle and we are told that with the temptation He will make a way of escape that you are able to handle it. Even when you are in the desert, see that the Lord is with you and that He promises He will never forsake or leave you.
A pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night led the Israelites. Perhaps you are going through a desert experience in your life, needing direction and would love to have a cloud by day and fire by night to lead you. smile. Rest assured, you are not alone for He has left His Holy Spirit to lead you.
16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever 17The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you. John 14:16-17 (AMP)
As the Lord led the Israelites by pillar of cloud and pillar of fire He will lead you, O you of little faith. The same fire of His spirit is with you today. A wilderness experience is never wasted when we love the Lord and it could even keep you from going back into bondage. There are invaluable lessons learned during this time. Instead allow the Lord to turn this time in your life into a rich time with Him knowing that it is for a little while and that your lessons learned in the wilderness can be stepping stones to future ministry.

Your God Is Able To Deliver You!
CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
YOUR GOD IS ABLE TO DELIVER YOU!
Daniel knew his God. How well do you know your Lord when put in a crisis situation? Daniel was a man of prayer and it was his praying that paved the way to be thrown into the lions den. He was a positive witness and even the king saw his innocence and wanted to see him delivered by his God. The king said, "Your God whom you serve continually, He will deliver you". (NKJV) Could the same be said about our witness for Jesus? Do people say about you, his God is able to deliver him?
Are you going through a crisis situation? Perhaps it is debt, or someone falsely accusing you. Are you seeing through eyes of faith that your God is able to deliver you?
In the eyes of man, Daniels demise seemed sealed but there was one greater than man who was indeed able and who did deliver Him by sealing the mouth of the lions.
God is able to seal the mouth of the lion in your life. Whatever it may be it, is not too big for your God to deliver you!
Like Daniel continue to pray, believe and know that when you come out on the other side of your situation that it was the goodness and mercy of the Lord that delivered you.
36If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36

Prophetic Refreshing
Prophetic Refreshing
There fast comes a place in every prophets life for prophetic refreshing. There is the need to have the wind of His Spirit take you higher and you must leave many things behind to spend quality time with the Father. He is calling you higher. He is calling you to leave many things aside to come and meet with Him. There comes a time when the reading of prophetic words is not enough. Nor is meeting daily online with those of like precious faith. Divine appointments set by Him do not come without a price and He is calling you to spend time with Him and seek Him for those appointments.
Do not compromise the Word of God by settling for less than He has for you. Do not settle for less than the times of refreshing Jesus has to offer you. Do not settle for those that call themselves apostles and prophets and desire to see and hear the accolades of men. Desire only the presence of the Lord and let His joy and refreshing flood your soul. Sometimes you must break away and leave certain connections not because they are not of the Lord but because He is calling you in another direction. When you hear the call of the Spirit to take you higher you must be obedient. This obedience will not be understood by all but those that hear Him will understand your need to meet with your Maker and that you desire only Him in this season.
The hunger in your heart will not go away until it is satisfied and it will only be satisfied by more of Him. Not more of ministry, not more of fellowship but more of Jesus the author and finisher of your faith. Desiring to meet with the Father more than men is what it all about for how can you continue to give out if you have not first met with Him. Softly tenderly the Spirit of God is calling you and saying come into the secret place and meet with Me in this season. Softly and tenderly the Spirit of God is saying give it all up to meet with Me. I will give you divine appointments in due season but now is your time with Me beloved. Now is your precious time with Me, reach out and take it for it is now being offered to you and in it you will find a rich blessing.

Ground Zero
CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
GROUND ZERO
A moment in time when God took His hand of protection off a nation and the hand of enemy tried to thwart the way of life and freedom. He tried to make us fear and since that time we have truly loss our innocence and some must learn to trust their Father again. The Lord sometimes allows tragedy in our lives. At the time it is devastating but in time the healing of a nation began. Ever slowly through the words of one and another testimonies of the goodness of God came through to touch our hearts and lives and God was and is there to bring restoration to the broken pieces.
Shattered dreams have come to many of us through the years when what we hoped and dreamed for did not come to pass. The key is to not let our vision die but to keep our hope in the Lord. What is it that the Lord has spoken to you that did not come to pass? Perhaps it was a prophetic word that you ran with at the beginning only to see it fade into insignificance and be filed in the deep recess of your mind, ever hoping that one day it would come to pass. Yet since that time so many things have crowded in and life has happened. Things have tumbled in to discourage you from ever believing again on that word you received many years ago.
You need to go back to that place in time that you received that word and remember that it was indeed God that spoke to you. He gave you that Word that so filled your heart with joy and anticipation. It was God that was there that day and God that is with you today. You will need to clear your mind from all that has cluttered and crowded in and remember that God still speaks.
It is time to come to the place of realizing that Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever. No matter what has happened to come between you and God, He has not changed. Neither life nor death nor any other thing will keep you from the love of God. Know today that God loves YOU. Indeed you are special to Him. Come to Him today, and know that He is good and so willing and wanting the very best for you. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. Absolutely nothing as long as you are willing to once again let Him work in your heart and life. Let Him erase the memories of your ground zero and bring healing to your heart of life. He will remove the hurt, pain and disappointment that you have received into your heart. Be willing to forgive those that have hurt you and caused you this deep pain. Jesus the same, yesterday, today and the day of your ground zero, will come in and restore you. He will restore you and bring to pass the precious things He has spoken to you if you will but trust Him again.
Let Him take you and love you. Let Him wash you off and make you clean. He will cleanse you from all unrighteousness and set your feet on the rock again. If you are the prodigal son or daughter that is returning home, He will put a robe of righteousness on you when you accept what His shed blood has done for you and clean you and help you in your walk. Perhaps you are in the church and have felt you have blown it too much to come back and that no one will accept you. This is the lie the enemy wants you to believe. There is nothing too great for the Lord to forgive if you come to Him. Talk to Him, pour out your heart to Him and let Him clean you and know that His love is not too small and that it will cover your sin. Come to Jesus today, whoever you are, just as you are and let the Father restore all that the enemy has eaten. Your ground zero has ended this day and you are firmly being placed in the light of the Fathers love. Will you accept it today?
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Heart Of A Prophet
The Heart Of A Prophet
A true prophet of God desires to please only the Father. This brings him or her to the place of realization that they are on a collision course with this world. The things of God and the things of this world are at complete opposites one to the other. The prophet of God has been spoiled and there comes no joy to them in the things of this world. They are utterly futile and even the things that the average Christian is doing bring no pleasure or lasting joy. One comes to place of realizing that all things of this world are temporal and only the things of God are eternal. Plainly the prophet is fed up with this world and wonders why others do not see it as he does. The Kingdoms of this world are coming to nought and only the things of God bring pleasure to the prophet of God. Again and again the Lord refreshes this in their mind so that they are forever spoiled by even one taste of the presence of God. It is worth more than all the money in this world can buy. The things of this world have as the song said, "grown strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace". How the prophet longs for one more glimpse of the Lord. How He or she longs for one more taste of the presence of God.
The things of this world bring no pleasure and He reckons himself dead to this world. The presence of God is what He longs for and he or she desires to see others have this same hunger for God. Oh how we long for His presence. It is sweeter that honey. Sometimes God blesses the prophet and yet they are hungry still for more of Him. There is that realization that the things of this world bring no satisfaction and once they are attained there is still that deep hunger for the Lord. We are told that if anyone is hungry let him come to the word of God without money.
1Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Isaiah 55: 1-2
There is nothing that satisfies like the Lord. God is wanting to bring His people higher. He is wanting His people to desire Him alone. His blood and righteousness. There is nothing more precious than the Word of God. Nothing worth hungering for but Jesus. Oh to see His people grow in the things of God and come higher. Oh to see His people desire Him. Come to Him today all you that labour and are heavy ladened and He will give you rest. Cry out to Him and repent of your sin and He will receive you. The world and all that is in it are coming to nothing but the Kingdom of our God will last forever. Desire the Lord! Desire the things of God for they are precious. Desire the Lord and desire to be used of Him. Desire Him and be used in the gifts of the Spirit.
People of God it is time to give Jesus your all. It is time to serve the Lord with diligence. It is time to waken from your slumber for the Lord is calling you. Now is the day of your salvation. The Day of Lord will soon be here. The hour is late. The call is going out. Come to the Lord you who have backslidden. Come to the Lord you who are needy. Come to the Lord and He will forgive you. Come to Him and let Him satisfy the deep longing of your heart. Will you come to Him today and see Him. He is here and will meet with you and you will know peace that passes all understanding. Come to Him today.

Desire the Lord and desire to be used of Him. Desire Him and be used in the gifts of the Spirit.
People of God it is time to give Jesus your all. It is time to serve the Lord with diligence. It is time to waken from your slumber for the Lord is calling you. Now is the day of your salvation. The Day of Lord will soon be here. The hour is late. The call is going out. Come to the Lord you who have backslidden. Come to the Lord you who are needy. Come to the Lord and He will forgive you. To God Be The Glory!!!
CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
To God Be The Glory!!!
18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18
God is reminding us that He is building His church. It is possible to take credit for that which the Lord is doing.
We are reminded, 5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 1 Cor. 3:5 (NKJV)
Neither he who plants or he who waters is anything. In other words to God be the glory for the church He is building.
8I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Isa. 42:8 (NKJV)
God is looking for those that will NOT touch His glory. He will do a lot in the man or woman who will give Him the glory. God is going to bring forward those that will not touch His glory. Will you give Him the glory? Let us remember whose name we are elevating! Let us look for praise from God and not from men. It is His prophetic ministry. Lift the name of Jesus higher. Remember the work that is being done through your brothers and sisters is His work and equally important as your own.
Seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything will be added to you.

Keep On Your Army Boots!!!
CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
KEEP ON YOUR ARMY BOOTS!!!
Warn My bride, warn My bride, to keep on her army boots!!! This is not the time for the wedding this is the time for doing battle! Keep on your army boots! You are My battle axe and weapon of war! Discern that which is going on in and around you and I will give you light to see and ears to hear. Hear what the Spirit is saying, to the church My beloved. I am speaking into your heart and you need to fine tune My still small voice. Settle down and take time to listen to Me! I am speaking and will reveal things to you as you ask Me. Do not perceive things by the outward appearance but BE VIGILANT also about what is happening in the lives of your brothers and sisters. DISCERN the Lords body! There are many who are battle worn and need to be uplifted. Many are wounded and need help off the battlefield for recovery. All will be recovered by listening to My still voice and supporting one another. Only then act and go into battle TOGETHER. One can put a thousand to flight and two, ten thousand so join hands together and fight with My strength, says the Lord and you will overcome and the victory will soon be won. Pray and cover one another in prayer for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. I am returning for one bride so stand together, says the Lord.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. It Is Time To Grow Up!
CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
It Is Time To Grow Up!
The Lord is looking for those that will walk in love one toward another. One must do their best to keep the unity of the Spirit. He did not say that it would always be possible but to do our best and keep the peace. He has given you grace to walk it out for it is by grace that you were saved and with grace you will complete the journey. He has placed the fivefold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers there for the perfecting of the body of Christ. We are living in an hour when we need to grow up quickly. We are told that we all need to come into
the unity of the spirit and a knowledge of the Son of God. We need to grow up in Him and no longer be tossed to and fro but know what we believe and stand on it!
We are told to speak the truth in love and this is not easy to do but God will give you wisdom on how to speak what He wants you to speak. God is saying, it is time to grow up! He is looking to see His bride grow up tall and straight. Daily we are moving toward eternity and it is time that the bride be standing tall and about her Father's business waiting for His returning with great expectancy. Daily we need to take time to renew our mind so that we think as He thinks and have the mind of Christ. A renewed mind is a sound mind! God does not give us a spirit of fear but of
power and of love and of a sound mind. God is looking for us to deal with the issues of the heart as He shows them to us and to guard our hearts and also guard what comes out of our mouth. We need to edify one another! Let us put aside all the works of the flesh and press in to God. We are closer today than when we first
believed.
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27

CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
Divine Connections

God is bringing His prophetic people who will hear the wind
of His Spirit together for such a time as this. Hear His call!
Hear the wind of the Spirit and know the way He is blowing.
God is speaking to His own and calling you to join ranks with
those that are His Divine connections for you in this hour.
Pray for Divine connections. Wait on Him and He will bring you
to them or them to you in His perfect timing. Press in and know
that the Lord has appointments for you in this hour. We are not
to walk alone but to be joined to His body. He is uniting us
together and the Spirit of Truth will be there in the midst.
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will
believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may
be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also
may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that
they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me;
that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may
know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have

SO....YOU WANT TO BE A PROPHET!

God looks down on those called to be His prophets
with such great joy. How He loves us. When one
knows that they are called to be a prophet of the
Lord such joy fills their heart. Then all too quickly
for the prophet the crushing begins. Little by little
the Lord continues to press in to remove all that
is not of Him. Many times the prophet will say
ouch and often moan and complain until they
realize that it really does no good but just takes
more energy than it is worth. We are told to be
good soldiers and endure hardness. The prophet
needs to be softened to have the heart of the Father
and yet toughened so they will not give in to pressure.
At the same time he or she needs to come to death
in their need of approval and have it stripped from their
lives. This needs to be to be removed from the prophets life.
Dying daily is the way of the prophet. Paul said, I
die daily. If you want to be a prophet get ready to
die!!! Get ready to lay all on the altar before Him and
move when He says move. You will learn to die quickly!
There will be times that you will move to an unknown
place. Little by little one realizes that their life is not
their own and Father is looking for a heart that obeys
out of love.
Some of us are more obedient than others. Then
there are those that are full of rebellion that He has
called and it all has to be dealt with.
The process is not easy. You will go through a lot of
rejection at the hands of others especially in the church.
Some will not understand your calling. Even those of
your own household will not always understand the high
standard God has called you to!
You will be mocked and ridiculed because you will not enter
into the things that they do. It is a lonely walk and often you
will want to hide you head in the sand. Alas, that does not
work either. Sometimes going to bed and pulling the covers
up over your head seems like the answer but that too is
short lived.
Plainly one comes to see that the life of the prophet is a
hard, disciplined life. Yet one would not change it for the world.
The true prophet loves the Lord with all their heart and has
a heart for His people. It is out of this that the prophet is born.
The Heart of the Father must be your heart beat. You must
love His church and not be critical of her but see her has the
Father sees her. You will be that intercessor with His heart
and you will also love His chosen people. You will hate sin but
learn to love the sinner.
You will be become one with whom He shares His secrets
and learn that you must keep confidences.
You will learn to intercede and pray the Word of God and
declare it into the earth. You will be His watchman. You will
learn to die to your flesh and get up at night when He calls you.
There will be little approval in this life for you. You will go
through life in the cave, live in a cocoon, in the wilderness
for a time and then one day you will be that beautiful butterfly
that God wants you to be!
So...you want to be a prophet! Be prepared to live in the fiery
furnace. Just when you think you got out of it, in you go again
for more refining. The Lord will lovingly refine you till you are
pure gold.
Do you feel that the Lord is calling you? Decide if you are willing
to pay the price! Spend time with Him and you will know in your
heart your calling as you wait on Him and hear His voice. He
will over time confirm it to you. This will be done through
others also who will recognize the gift that is in you. A mans
gift makes room for him.
Sometimes it takes years and yet others are told very
young that they are called the be a prophet. Jeremiah heard
early that he was called to be a prophet. There are others
who did not have it all revealed to them till midlife. They
look back and understand all the rejection and hardship they
have gone through and see that the Lord was preparing them.
God has a perfect plan. There is the prophetic gift, the
prophetic ministry and the prophetic office. Find out where you
are called.
Take time Beloved to seek Him and know for sure that He is
calling you to be one of His prophets. When you know this
press in with all His might and be all He has called you to be.
Realize that you will be in His school of learning for a long time
and that it can take even fifteen, twenty or thirty years to form
one who will one day walk in the office of the prophet and be
that gift to the body of Christ.
So...you want to be a prophet...be read to die to all that you are
so that you can be all for Him. You will become His mouthpiece,
speak when He says speak and will learn through the things
you suffer. You will put your foot in your mouth along the way,
but He will put the horses bit in your mouth and you will learn to
bridle your tongue.
Speaking in tongues is a good solution to this and being filled
with the Holy Ghost daily is a must for God's prophet.
Be prepared to be groomed by the Lord Himself and He will
work in your heart and life and one day you will be seperated
by the Lord for this office. Then in His timing He will ordain you
usually through an apostle into the office of the prophet.
You will do what you have done all along and serve His body and
you will now be that gift to the body of Christ which will require
a much greater dying to all that you are so that His church
can be all that they will be.
